Hard plastic dog pool made from polyethylene

Are you an owner of a large dog or giant breed? Do you have more than one dog in your family? Perhaps you have a pack of dogs or are a puppy play school or doggy daycare business wanting a point of difference and to allow your fury friends some enjoyable cooling off time in the hot summer sun?
We were sick of throwing away those cheap portable folding dog pools as our boy is a water digger and loves to play rough in his dog pool. The foldable pools barely lasted a day or two and our last one only lasted one day before ripping and completely ruining.
Ad for the clam shaped pools or other sandpit pools well our boy outgrew his at 6pm this to the point where he could only get his front paws in it. After several rough treatment episodes from our teenage boys they cracked and became sharp and dangerous!
I decided to search the web for an indestructible dog pool and aside from finding the bone shaped dog pool available in the US I couldn't find anything!
The cost of importing one or several of these dog bone pools plus the cost of the pool itself and I thought surely there’s something I can do better.
I ended up cutting down an expensive water tank which worked but was over priced for my use and looked rather ugly in black.
That’s when we decided we would like to design our very own best of the best dog pool so we had a mould made.
We researched and researched some more and trialed different depths and sizes, thicknesses and so on. Finally we came up with the Fido Bay Dog Pool design, an extra large dog pool at 1600mm in diameter ( large enough for our 86kg leonberger and all his friends) but not so large that it takes up the entire back yard. We made it round so he could continue to chase his ball around and around in it which he absolutely loves. He wouldn’t be able to do that in any other shape.
We settled on 350mm deep which is large enough so he could get out easily and just the right depth so that fencing isn’t required by law.
Finally after approval from the head bitch regarding the choice of colour for our first batch of Fido Bay Dog Pools we were off and swimming.
We believe these are the best dog pools available in the market. They are virtually indestructible being made from semi flexible 5mm polyethylene plastic. They won’t crack split rip or shatter like other folding dog pools or cheap plastic clam shaped pools.
There is a polyethylene bung for easy draining and shifting of the dog pool and it only weighs 35kg which is very solid but not as heavy as a concrete water tank.
These pools come with a polyethylene lid as you may find that your fury friend wants to spend all day every day in it and there are times you just want to keep them dry :).
On a hot summers day our boy would rather stay in his pool than go for a walk - I kid you not check out the video on our YouTube page.
